Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow Treatment – Tendonitis Orlando Medical Massage
You have persistent elbow pain and believe you have Golfers or Tennis Elbow tendonitis. You want to recover quickly from this painful condition and enjoy your daily activities and sports.
These terms or diagnoses for elbow pain are only names. Find out what tendonitis means and effective treatment protocols which resolve these soft tissue injuries.
Rest, ice, pain medication, stretching, injections, strengthening and other forms of physical therapy are common pain management remedies. You may have tried these modalities only to experience little or temporary relief.
Why Do These Treatments Often Fail?
The elbow treatments you have tried do not specifically treat all of the shortened soft tissue surrounding your entire elbow joint. They do not address the cause of your elbow pain. To get to the cause you need my specific medical massage treatment.
A Great Visual Aid
Clench your fingers together very tightly…this is what happens to our elbow joint when the tendons and ligaments have become overly shortened and tight. Now loosen you fingers and imagine your elbow moving smoothly and freely once again. My work enables the smooth movement found within a healthy elbow joint as I do address the intra-joint pressure.
Address The Core Issue
Many times standard treatments do not address and treat the core issue which requires lengthening of overly shortened muscles, tendons and ligaments within and around your elbow joint.
Calcification within your tendons (if any-calcific tenonitis) due to chronic inflammation and tightness in your joint will be resolved with this unique therapy. Space will be created for your pinched radial or ulnar nerve to heal. This takes detailed and focused soft tissue work.
Let’s Think About Repetitive Motion
When you think of golfer’s elbow you normally think of the inflammation and pain with tendons that attach to the inside or medial part of the elbow. Tennis elbow refers to inflammation and pain of the tendons that attach to the outer or lateral part of the elbow.
It’s not only repetitive motion involved with sports which creates tight tendons and intra-joint (within the joint) tension and damage at the elbow. Everyday elbow flexion aggravates this condition.
Constant Elbow Flexion And Tight Soft Tissue
We are constantly flexing our elbows (the ultimate repetitive motion) which creates shortening of muscles and tendons in the arm and forearm. Constant flexion within all our daily routines can create overly tight muscles, tendons and ligaments. Compounding these daily activities with tennis, golf, weight lifting or your sport of choice can greatly increase the shortening of your soft tissue.
This tightness may eventually cause damage within the joint and affect the radial and ulnar nerve. The more nerve pain you experience around
and within the joint the more the muscles spasm and the joint continues to tighten.
Break The Neuromuscular Pain Cycle
Let’s clear the mystery, this soft tissue shortening is the cause of elbow inflammation and leads to what is known as “tendonitis”. I can help you break this neuromuscular cycle of pain.
Check The Brachial Plexus
I also examine and if necessary lengthen the muscles and tendons surrounding the
brachial plexus nerve within your neck. If these muscles are hyper-contracted and placing pressure on the nerve this could be part of the problem. If you have this pinched nerve condition it may be referring pain to your elbow. “Hi Michelle Thank you for putting your talents and effort to work on my behalf. For the last three years, tendinitis in my right and left elbows has limited my ability to practice cello and perform daily tasks without pain. After two sessions I am thrilled to say I have much better range of motion, more strength and no pain. I look forward to continued work with you. Kind Regards”

My numbness and tingling in both my neck, elbow and hands stopped that night after the 3rd treatment. The numbness and tingling have not returned. As an additional benefit, the tightness between my shoulder blades to which I attributed to stress, has also disappeared.”
“A few weeks ago, while traveling to Orlando on business, I awakened with a severely tender and painful left elbow. The inside of my elbow was really aching. I went to Michelle for treatment as I had read about her success in treating elbow tendonitis. Thankfully within 3 visits I am well. Along her soft tissue therapy she used and recommended specific essential oils which reduced the inflammation. Thank you Michelle.”
